Commonquestions.
The things people usually want answered before they commit to anything.
Do you design and build, or just one of them?
Both, in-house. The same team that draws the garden builds it, so there is no gap between what was designed and what gets constructed, and one person stays accountable from the first site visit through to handover.
Where in Perth do you work?
Across the metropolitan area, with most of our work in the western and coastal suburbs. There are dedicated pages for Cottesloe, Dalkeith, Mosman Park, North Beach, Peppermint Grove and Swanbourne, if your suburb is not listed it is still worth asking.
What does a landscaping project cost?
It depends on scope rather than size. Levels, retaining, drainage and material choices drive the figure far more than square metres do, which is why we do not quote over the phone. After walking the site you get a considered figure with the scope set out, so you can see exactly what is included.
How long does a project take?
That is settled at design stage, once scope and any approvals are known. You get a staged programme before work begins rather than an estimate that keeps moving. Sites needing retaining or council approval run longer than a straightforward garden renewal.
Will we need council approval?
Sometimes. Retaining above a certain height, structures, and works close to a boundary are the usual triggers, and the requirements differ from one council to the next. We identify what is needed at concept stage rather than discovering it midway through a build.
What happens at the first consultation?
We walk the site with you, listen to how you want to use the space, and talk honestly about scope and budget before anything is drawn. If we are not the right fit for the project, we will say so then rather than later.
